About Us

Established in 1989, VIS A VIS Paris located in the heart of Parisian luxury, 14 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, is one of the most elegant signatures in the world of embroidered linen, declining all its designs to bed, bath and table linen with timeless collections of extreme refinement.

VIS A VIS Paris is a design studio for bespoke fine linen with unparalleled know-how. In her showroom, Veronique Taittinger and her team, design custom-made bed linen, tablecloths and bath towels in the purest French tradition.

Each creation can be declined in all dimensions, fabrics and colours for table, bed or bath linen for homes, yachts, jets and even luxury hotels.

Designs are inspired by the colours and trends of the year, or by specific client wishes, to match their home interior, or for instance, a tablecloth to match a dining ware set.

VIS A VIS Paris owns the two ateliers their linen is produced in: one specialized in hand-embroidered linen and the other one, based in France, in fine and sleek linen made by hand-guided machine. This allows VIS A VIS to dedicate their full attention and care to every step of the process, including lead time.

VIS A VIS works effortlessly to source the best European fabrics to ensure the highest standard for their clients. Their selection is curated conscientiously and offers a wide array of weaves and fibres such as cotton sateen and percale, linen, organdy and silk as well as thread counts going up to 1500tc. Their cotton towels are combed and woven in France.

How would you describe your style?

"VIS A VIS Paris linen is classic, and poetic with a fresh and contemporary twist. It combines the tradition of the know-how with a lightly graphic style."

"Private clients, interior designers and property developers get in touch with us with a project and some requirements.

Based on the material that we are provided with, colours, style, sizes, mood board, and depending on whether we get to meet our client face to face at their office, our showroom, on-site, or if we work together remotely, we can either make a full presentation of what we have to offer or provide a specific selection of colour cards, fabrics and design samples as well as a preselection of designs that seem relevant to their project.

We then work on refining the selection by exchanging ideas and sketches showing colour ways and embroidery placements.

Once the final decision is made, drawings are made to scale on tracing paper and sent to our atelier. It takes 8 to 12 weeks for the order to be delivered to our client's preferred address.

We can also make fully bespoke orders, and create designs or logos based on a client idea."
