About Us

Kerri Pilchik Design is a boutique interior design firm based in Ridgewood NJ, 15 miles north of New York City. KPD is known for design with bold colours and patterns used in a classic, clean and chic way. Kerri’s work is layered but uncluttered, sophisticated but approachable, elegant and effortless. Kerri’s ability to create both dynamic and quiet moments and to mix traditional with modern elements is what clients express draws them to KPD.

Kerri received an art history degree from Duke University, a law degree from Georgetown Law Center and a certificate in interior design from the New York School of Interior Design. After 14 years of practising law, she decided to follow her passion for interior design and opened her eponymous firm in 2021. Kerri recently was recognized as one of House Beautiful’s 2023 Next Wave Designers, an exclusive list of design stars on the rise.

How would you describe your style?

"My style is colourful and bright but sophisticated and refined. My projects are full of individual character in order to make each one feel like “home” to the client. Beauty, function and timelessness are at their core."

Please describe a recently completed project or tell us about the bespoke service that you offer

"KPD offers full-service interior design from conception to completion. We work with architects and builders on new builds and renovations, as well as decoration projects. We pride ourselves on our exceptional client service and attention to every detail. KPD has completed projects in New York City, the Hamptons, Connecticut, Westchester County NY, Palm Beach County FL and Chestnut Hill MA, in addition to numerous projects in Bergen County NJ. Most recently, we completed the decoration and renovation of two apartments on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, utilizing a mix of mid-century modern pieces, antiques, contemporary pieces and richly patterned textiles."
