About Us

Polly Granville is a bespoke upholstery studio that works across the high-end commercial and domestic sectors. Their projects cover A-list restaurants, 5-star hotels and luxury domestic interiors.

Over 14 years the company has built strong relationships with Architects, Interior Designers and joinery companies to ensure a seamless delivery to the client. Their services include both traditional and modern upholstery, curtains and soft furnishings and all methods of fabric walling.

Polly and her team can be creative when you need new ideas and diligent when you want the best result for a traditional solution.

The company has garnered a reputation for an immaculate finish on its pieces but also prides itself on its excellent communication, problem-solving skills and the ability to mould the size and skill set of the team to fit each project perfectly. They are used to working to tight deadlines and delivering on them.

Polly herself was namechecked as a “seating couturier” for the bespoke side of the business. Merging style and craftsmanship from the past with a freshness of the contemporary and using innovative detailing with beautiful fabrics we upholster frames to create extraordinary pieces.

By collaborating with specialist craftspeople who share the company's passion for keeping traditional skills alive and with an eye for the unusual and meticulous attention to detail, each bespoke project becomes a unique yet functional work of art.

How would you describe your style?

"As an upholstery company, our style is completely fluid - we have worked on incredibly sleek, minimal and pared-back designs but conversely on maximalist, ornate and hugely colourful pieces. We are client-led every time, so whatever the style of your project, rest assured you will receive extensive care and collaboration to ensure the highest quality."

"Working closely with an Architectural firm the brief was to help create a warm, stylish family home in Hampstead for a family recently returned from abroad. We were commissioned to source antique pieces to blend with the furniture they already had and to supply fabric samples for both the furniture and window treatments. We provided upholstery for several rooms including sofas, armchairs and headboards. The project took 6 months to complete, and we have just been asked back to build a bespoke kitchen banquette, so truly a top to toe treatment."
