KönigOutdoor was developed by one of the UK's leading stone fabricators, who knew the capabilities of sintered stone and realised it has the perfect characteristics to withstand life outdoors. Created by applying extreme heat and pres¬sure to bond a mix of raw meterials, sintered stone not only exudes luxury but has high resistance to extreme temperatures and UV Light. It is also non-porous meaning that water, mould, bacteria, or stains cannot penetrate the surface, making the worktops easy to clean, and resulting in a hygienic usable surface for food preparation.
Each kitchen is made to order, allowing the homeowner or designer to create a unique outdoor kitchen to exact specifications. KönigOutdoor loves to collaborate with designs and has many times provided solutions to overcome challenges where other outdoor kitchen suppliers were unable to help. The beautiful Show Garden showcased a ‘plot-to-plate’ experience with the show’s first ever working kitchen at its heart, where special guests dined on meals prepared in the kitchen with ingredients from the surrounding edible planting.
The designer, Mark Gregory of Landform Consultants, wanted a kitchen that fit in with the gardens ‘Best of British’ messaging whilst being high-quality, fully bespoke and with finishes that would complement an intimate walled garden within the grounds of an imagined country hotel.
The beautiful handle-less outdoor kitchen was installed against a brick wall that acted as the back and side panel. The fully equipped kitchen included ample cupboard space, 3 burner grill, drinks fridge, plenty of worktop space for food preparation/service and even a sink to wash up in. The external surfaces featured a built-up worktop in Neolith Pietra Di Osso with cupboard and drawer fronts in Neolith Beton Silk, both of whose neutral tones perfectly complimented the surrounding brickwork."
