Studio Alexandra provides a holistic approach to interior design with a focus on conscious design. Authenticity, connection with each project and an exceptional eye for detail and inventive spaces are at the heart of the Studio’s ethos. Since its genesis in 2016 Studio Alexandra has worked on both commercial and residential projects. Amongst the commercial projects of boutique hotels and unique home stays are the renovations of Coombeshead Farm in Cornwall and the widely acclaimed Glebe House in Devon.
Founder Alexandra Childs has a background in Art History which informs the studio’s work, giving each design integrity and grounding within the building’s architecture and that of the surrounding area. They are keen to avoid clichés and strive to give each project its own defined identity, working closely with each client to create truly special, informed and welcoming spaces, together.

"A recently completed West London Mews House designed as a pied a terre for an older couple to use as a London base. The brief was to fully upgrade the house including new joinery and kitchen upgrades to be warm, inviting and have plenty of space to entertain friends. The client’s main residence is in the countryside and they were keen to maintain a similar aesthetic in their London property. We brought in gentle nods to nature and gardening with botanical wallpapers and earthy tones, mixing these with a fresh palette some more contemporary pieces from Pinch London and Soho Home to contrast their existing antiques."
