About Us

Studio 95 Interiors is a boutique interior design studio in West London, specialising in full-service residential interior design for private clients. Founded in early 2021 by Stephanie Gilsenan, an interior designer with a wealth of expertise gained over the past twenty years, the studio has built a reputation for distinctive, elegant and vibrant interiors. Stephanie’s designs seamlessly integrate with the architecture of each property while reflecting the unique personality of the owner. Equally adept at working on both modern and traditional spaces, she creates comfortable, interesting homes that work for each client’s specific needs. From large-scale new builds and refurbishments of family homes to small apartment projects, the design process is enjoyable and stress-free for her clients. The studio’s aim is to ensure that your interior spaces are thoughtfully designed, and functional and bring you lasting joy.

How would you describe your style?

"While we don’t adhere to a specific studio design style, certain key elements feature across most of our projects. These include the thoughtful use of colour, pattern, layered lighting, bespoke joinery, indoor greenery and the creation of multi-functional spaces (important in family homes and small-space living). Where appropriate, we like to reuse existing pieces of furniture, kitchen cabinetry, timber or marble flooring, rugs or artwork. Using these existing pieces not only provides a foundation for new designs but also supports sustainability and helps manage the overall budget."

"Last year, we completed a large two-storey contemporary extension project for a 1930s period family home near Ealing Common comprising of a new expansive open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, a refurbished hallway, stairs and landing and new master bedroom with ensuite and dressing room. We were engaged early in the project and worked alongside the clients’ architects. We designed the lighting scheme, floor finish layouts, kitchen design, media wall joinery, and furniture layouts along with furniture specification and procurement. Once the project was on site, we conducted regular site visits until completion to make sure the design was on track and to address any queries or challenges along the way.

Another recent project in Chiswick involved a full refurbishment of a three-storey modern house. Having recently moved in and despite it being in good condition, the client felt the house lacked warmth and character. Our brief was to transform it into a welcoming family home. For the ground floor kitchen diner and TV area, we created a comfortable and inviting space with a distinctive style. In the first-floor reception room, which was to be used as a more formal space, we designed bespoke joinery incorporating TV and shelving with integrated lighting which gave the room a much-needed focal point. We designed a social seating plan, and added luxurious furnishings, window treatments and accessories, to create a room which is now an elegant, welcoming space, fit for family gatherings or entertaining.

Studio 95 Interiors offers a tailored and personal service to each client. We provide full-service interior design as well as colour consultations and interior design advice for smaller projects."
