Panter & Hall Decorative has been sourcing mid-century paintings and contemporary works of art for private collectors, interior designers and decorators for a quarter of a century. They have two galleries in London, a large space in Pall Mall showing a program of exhibitions by living artists and a Victorian shop in Cecil Court where they show their twentieth century collection. Their diverse stock of several thousand paintings allows them to offer a rare depth of choice in style and price. Original framed paintings start at a few hundred pounds with a selection of masterworks in the tens of thousands. The emphasis is always on affordability, allowing the gallery to source quality period works for large projects within tight budgets. Panter & Hall have sourced artwork for most of the leading international designers working today and often lend out for photo shoots as well as project dressing for residential and commercial interiors.
How would you describe your style?
"Our passion is for the post-War 1950s aesthetic, semi-abstracted muted colours, although our depth of stock allows us to offer paintings in most colour palettes and periods from the early 1900s to the present day."

"We have sourced work for some of the great names in Interior design over the years and helped form some fabulous private collections but the most impressive project we’ve been involved with to date merged both – the wonderful Heckfield Place in Hampshire where Ben Thompson’s heavenly design incorporated dozens of our paintings and photographs from the owner’s personal collection."
