"From the conception of a project through to its completion, our ultimate goal is to listen to our clients and design the perfect home for them. We don't aim to persuade our clients into creating a portfolio piece; instead, we embark on a journey with them to achieve a collection of spaces that they truly love.

We achieve this by asking questions, presenting options, discussing designs in detail with our clients, and most importantly, listening - really listening.

At our Palmerston project, the client wanted to re-integrate their separate lower-ground apartment into their existing Victorian house. Initially, they envisioned using the lower ground as a combined living room and kitchen opening onto the garden. However, we suggested dedicating the entire floor to the kitchen. This decision created distinct and functional spaces suitable for their growing family and their elegant Victorian home.

For our Capel project, the client's ambition was to maximise their home with the largest extension possible within planning constraints. However, through the design process, it became evident that what they truly needed was a reconfiguration of their existing space, beautifully fitted out to work perfectly for their lifestyle.

Perhaps the trickiest project of all was for the founder Mel Bax’s own home. But by following the process and listening to her and her husband’s ideas from the outset, it became clear that what was most important to them was creating a bold, colourful, and cosy kitchen overlooking their garden. The bright accents in the windows, doors, and floor inject joy into the space, while the natural materials of marble, oak, and brass create a grounding, cohesive palette.

The key thread throughout all our projects is the commitment to communication with our clients in order to create homes that are perfect for them."
