"A little about a recent project;
The much-awaited Hoxton Hotel Barcelona opened its doors for the first time earlier this year, set in the creative neighbourhood of Poblenou. Holmes Bespoke was entrusted to create 550 rugs and tapestries across the hotel.
Each room features a Holmes Bespoke tapestry and Holmes Bespoke hand-crafted rug, with the larger rooms featuring two rugs. Every rug within the lobby, the bar and private event space are by Holmes Bespoke, including the directional signage on each floor.
Many of these rugs were created in collaboration with the design team behind the Hoxton, however, dotted around the hotel are some Holmes Bespoke best sellers.
The Racheal rug; handwoven from 100% wool with raised cut pile detail, this tactile rug adds vibrance and texture. The Poppy rug; handwoven from elevated loops of natural jute, forming a rhythmic, textured design. The Sienna rug is expertly handcrafted using natural jute in a herringbone pattern with calming neutral hues and a contrasting hand-stitched border.
Following this successful collaboration, Holmes Bespoke will be working with The Hoxton to create rugs and accessories for a number of upcoming projects, watch this space!"
