Bert & May uses its extensive design credentials to collaborate closely with designers and architects to create bespoke kitchens and bathrooms, sourcing reclaimed tiles and antiques to bring a unique look to any space. Created in collaboration with renowned interior design studio Samantha Todhunter, Ric Rac was inspired by the gently scalloped Ric Rac ribbon widely used as a textile trim on traditional Spanish skirts and dresses. The collection features two distinct patterns and has been released in three exuberant colourways – Glacier Mint, Bubblegum, and Fig – all using existing colours from Bert & May’s rich colour palette. Like all Bert & May designs, customers can also design their own tiles using Bert & May’s bespoke tile tool online or directly in one of their four showrooms, choosing from any of the 40 colours available. Each tile is made to order and hand-poured by skilled artisans in their specialist tile factory in Spain, adding to the allure of Bert & May’s bespoke offerings.
