About Us

The team at Lara et al, takes pride in listening to each and every client's brief and creating them warm, elegant and timeless homes. We have been fortunate enough to work on a wonderful range of buildings of contrasting styles and architectural periods both within the UK and abroad. Considerable time and love are given to each of our client’s requests, creating beautiful and unique spaces that make them feel truly at home. Lara leads a small, talented and passionate team who embrace and nurture every client and their interior design needs. We understand how important the client/designer relationship is and allow time to really listen to every client brief.

How would you describe your style?

"Textured, elegant and calm achieved by using layers of gorgeous natural materials, earthy tones and classic prints that woven together make a house a home. However, we understand that every client is different and requires a tailored approach so for each interior we create a unique narrative around them."

Please describe a recently completed project or tell us about the bespoke service that you offer

"We recently completed a ‘chocolate box’ project of colour and memories. Our client entrusted us a second time with their primary Chelsea home, feeling confident that we would be best served to understand and deliver the forever home of their dreams and future. The house tells a story as you weave your way up through rooms of vibrant spice colours and bold patterns. We started with a reconfiguration that provided more family spaces and privacy for long-staying guests and then played with colour, texture and pattern to create an unexpected but beautiful outcome."
