About Us

Stephanie Griffiths is the driving force behind her company with the sole aim of creating spaces to capture her client's dream requirements and transform them into inspirational comfortable homes, offices, or workspaces. Steph draws upon her broad experience within the industry to bring fresh ideas using her flair for colour, textiles, furniture and accessories to complement each project. Her passion for art enables her to combine, where appropriate, heritage pieces with contemporary additions whilst still recognising practical applications and purpose. Being a keen photographer and stylist gives Steph’s work another dimension, with her constant sourcing of any new furniture discoveries from antiques to new contemporary pieces, she loves to add a story to her work through some of the items she uses in a project.

A Styling Story also has a range of bespoke cushions made from designer fabrics. The cushions are the first launch in the studio's homeware range Matchd, which is available on their website.

How would you describe your style?

"A Styling Story's style is the creation of bright spaces filled with eclectic, colourful influences whether that be in furniture, art or accessories. Art plays a big part in any design scheme which is where we might base a lot of our project’s bursts of colour to create the right atmosphere for the home."

Please describe a recently completed project or tell us about the bespoke service that you offer

"We recently finished a residential project on Wimbledon Common. Our brief for this project was to add a warm country feel to a London pad. The client really wanted elements of the country inserted in his home making sure that it still suited the style of the property. The client had a large archive of photography and art that he wished to keep and use which is from where we stemmed the design process. These pieces added a very cool historical element to the property and were a joy to work with, and pair both new and historic furniture pieces.

We also recently finished a project in Surrey which was to create an 'office from home' space and Master Bedroom scheme. Our client had a very dark office space which she felt was depressing and de-motivating to work in. Their bedroom needed some TLC and our brief was to create a boutique hotel vibe. Like all my projects, it was a joy to bring these spaces to life. Watching the joy and gratitude in our client’s reactions always makes our job extremely rewarding."
