"Throughout our 75 years creating paint, we’ve had the opportunity to collaborate on a wide range of projects and transformations. Recently, we helped transform Kemps House, the home of furniture designer and founder of Maker & Son, Alex Willcock. Bringing a new lease of life and colour to this traditional space meant a full redecoration - from the front porch to the bedroom.
As a designer himself, Alex already had a strong understanding of colour, texture and furnishings. The Farrow & Ball colour consultancy service, brought Colour Curator Joa Studholme’s knowledge of light, the palette and our high-performance finishes to the table. From dusty pink Cinder Rose in hardwearing Modern Eggshell on his daughter’s bedroom floor to accents of Wet Sand in the bookcase to complement one of Alex’s pieces, the collaboration made the most of both parties’ expertise. The end result is a new, fresh feeling for a well-loved home, which the family can enjoy for years to come."
