How would you describe your style?
“Classic, colourful, handmade and handpicked fabrics and homeware. The Mews Fabrics & Furnishings specialises in unique textiles and furnishings from around the world. We work with local artisans in India, Spain and Mallorca to create beautiful and individual pieces. We also sell fabric printed in the UK, created by a well-known watercolour artist and are shortly to launch our own collection of fabrics.”

“Our Pardis Fabric Collection is designed by renowned watercolourist Felicity Buchanan and is printed to order in the UK. Having fabric printed to order means there is very little wastage and we only print what is required; the high-tech digital printing process means there is no requirement for liquid dyes which are harmful to the environment. We can make bespoke cushions in any of our fabrics; our Mallorcan fabrics have a beautiful texture and their unique and traditional ikats and stripes are perfect for eye-catching and original cushions.
We source our Mallorcan fabric from three traditional mills in Mallorca, working closely with one in particular, Bujosa, which is a family-run mill that is over 120 years old. We recently collaborated with well-known Spanish stylist and blogger Gloria Gonzalez and created three beautiful and exclusive cushions in fabrics by Bujosa; one of the fabrics, for the Soller cushion, was created by Bujosa exclusively for this collaboration.
We are lucky enough to work with a wonderful artisan family in southern Spain who create our iconic Spanish Ceramics. Not only do the ceramics complement any table setting, but they also look fabulous as wall art, hung on a wall as a colourful decorative piece.
Our block print table linen and quilts are created exclusively for us by a wonderful group of block printers in India. Some of the patterns we get them to print are traditional Indian Chinoiserie in design and others are designs we’ve created and they’ve turned into a perfect block to print, for example, our new Nellie tablecloths, where the design was inspired by an antique plaster mould used for ceiling cornices. We hope you enjoy our collection as much as we enjoy sourcing and collating it!”
