Please describe a recently completed project or tell us about the bespoke service that you offer

I recently completed the design of a country house in Tangley, Hampshire. The client was downsizing from an old Georgian rectory house, but wanted to keep much of their existing antique, mahogany furniture, and to consolidate with with their 'Scandinavian, hygge' brief - a style that they had fallen in love with on a visit to Copenhagen. They did not want the design to be void of colour, as is the temptation with Scandinavian design. We re-used their existing sofas and armchairs, and had them re-stuffed and re-upholstered with loose linen covers. All of the fabrics used in the project were of natural origin (linen, cotton etc). We injected colour into each room with the soft furnishings - each colour scheme was inspired by the seasons and the natural landscape surrounding the house. The project was designed down to the small accessories and artwork, curated from the client's extensive art collection.
