"A most recently completed project was our Fernshaw Mansion pied-a-terre, set in Chelsea, London. Appointed to fully refurbish this property to the loveliest standard, we set about a full-scale conversion of this beautiful Victorian apartment; comprised of two south west facing and interconnecting reception rooms, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen diner, a main bathroom and a shower room. No space or surface was left radically unchanged.
The brief was to restore the property's character whilst bringing it up to date sympathetically; creating a haven of quiet yet inspired calm.
As many of the original features had been covered up the team didn't always know what we were going to find until ceilings or walls were removed, requiring of us a high level of responsiveness.
The commission detailed, ‘To introduce a high degree of visual interest with colour, print, texture, scale and proportion. High value should be placed on the importance of craftsmanship and finish.’ This meant that our approach could be highly bespoke. Everything that you see in this project was designed, made, fitted and overseen by Lindi Reynolds & Co.
The property required a full rewire, a new kitchen, bathrooms and FF&E throughout. This too was delivered under the Lindi Reynolds & Co. umbrella.
