For the world’s most outstanding addresses, British company David Harber Ltd creates original and enduring sculptures, sundials and water features that are designed to delight and enchant while meeting each customer’s unique requirements. All David Harber pieces are crafted to create lasting impressions that will continuously charm and surprise, whilst being made specifically to work for their surrounding environments and those who will enjoy them every day.
The company’s portfolio spans the globe from the USA to Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia, with notable projects as far afield as Dubai, Bahrain and Singapore. David Harber’s works have been commissioned for many prestigious projects including the Al-Rawdha Palace, Bahrain; Zabeel Park, Dubai; Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, France; Jeddah Airport in Saudi Arabia; Denver Water, USA and Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA amongst others.
David Harber’s sculptures can also be found adorning many illustrious British institutions such as Oxford and Cambridge colleges, public schools such as Eton and Stowe, and a number of corporate buildings and private villas. While he is best known for his outdoor sculptures, his team’s knack of sensitively tailoring each project to reflect the identity of that space has made his work popular with interior designers, too.
Inspired by the interaction of light and reflection, David uses materials such as brass, copper, bronze, stainless steel and stone. Every piece is made from his Oxfordshire workshop, where he has built a team that possesses an exceptional breadth of knowledge, skill and craftsmanship. In 2016, the company was honoured with the Queen’s Award for International Trade for outstanding overseas growth while remaining committed to British design and craftsmanship. In 2020 David received his second Queen’s Award – a testament to his growing team. He is also a six times winner of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show’s Sundries Trophy, granted for excellence of presentation, and his client list includes several distinguished names such as Dame Judi Dench and the late George Michael.
