With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Jackie Fisken has been at the helm of Ampersand Interiors as Design Director since 1993. Jackie is an influential presence in interiors bringing huge creativity and imagination to every commission. A belief in the individuality of projects and designs rooted in the personality and lifestyle of clients means that Ampersand has no house or signature style – although Jackie’s inspired eye for colour and eclecticism is much sought after.
She is supported by a highly skilled team of Designers and Interior Architects who alongside our trusted tradesmen, artisans, and makers ensure that every project is executed to the highest standard and with the utmost attention to detail. With showrooms in both Edinburgh and London, Ampersand is perfectly placed to oversee projects across the UK and abroad.

"As our clients are at the core of all our designs, we start by getting to know them. It is important to understand the design aesthetic they are hoping to achieve, whilst also considering how they plan to live in the space. We provide fabric schemes, hard finish samples, and various formats of drawings and plans to help illustrate how we will bring the design to life. Ampersand will regularly design bespoke pieces of furniture to suit the needs of a specific project and can also be engaged to accessorise and style the property, including art consultancy services. All of which ensures that no two projects are ever the same and that the final space truly does feel like home. Our personal approach allows us to build confidence and trust with our clients meaning we can often push the boundaries of their choices to realise a final design which is even better than they originally imagined."
