"Heritage and dedication to the restoration of masterpieces lay at the foundation of Zoffany. With an extensive archive to delve into, producing exquisite designs for modern settings comes with knowledge and respect for the past. Permeating each collection is not just a look, but an atmosphere of Britishness and its past, inextricably linked to nature and the surrounding landscape of town and country England.

Cotswolds Manor from Zoffany invites you to discover a luxurious collection of fabrics and wallcoverings, influenced by English ideals and the glory of country life. Charting the stylistic changes of English country houses over time, 10 wallcoverings, eight prints, two embroideries and two weaves, represent a world of underplayed glamour, weekend escapes and an altogether more genteel pace of life.

Peter Gomez, head of design for Zoffany says, “With each document chosen for its elegant countryside aesthetic, we’re rediscovering iconic patterns and prints that have been stored in our archive for many years. By repurposing these designs, we can give them a new lease of life, ensuring their appeal and longevity for future generations. Reminding us of Zoffany’s rich and illustrious heritage, the collection includes a luxurious range of qualities, with beautiful finishing touches such as hand embellished embroidery and elevated wallpaper substrates.”

With a deep appreciation and dedication to craft and artistry, Zoffany works closely with the Royal College of Art to discover and nurture new design talent, forging new pieces that encapsulate a truly unique design perspective. Ruth Blanke, an illustrator and graduate from the RCA, is featured in Zoffany’s Cotswolds Manor Collection with Avalonis, a masterful mythical landscape characterising the connection between humans and animals, using long table printing to achieve a mesmerising aesthetic.

These designs, ultimately, endure as masterpieces of British design."
