Milola Design’s founder, Larissa Miloradovich, creates artisanal wallpapers that blend the classical with the whimsical; drawing inspiration from her collection of antique copperplates, textiles and artefacts, she recreates these beautiful but oft-forgotten artworks for walls with an uplifting sense of contemporary elegance.
Larissa has a home studio in Germany where she lives with her family. A culturally diverse upbringing and a deep-rooted love of art and history mean she is most at home surrounded by eclectic people with different backgrounds and interests. As a result, her inspiration tends to come from the cultural mix of identities found in the artwork she has collected over the years. The beautiful balanced colours and wonderful detailing of her wallpapers aim to bring joy and character into each home.
Milola’s wallpapers are designed in Germany and printed in the UK on the highest quality non-woven paper.

How would you describe your style?
"My designs contain bold statements of colour yet beautifully delicate details. The result is a diverse collection of wallpapers that give a big nod to the old, whilst embracing and having fun with the new."
Please describe a recently completed project or tell us about the bespoke service that you offer
"I recently completed a project for a Swedish client based in Los Angeles. The spec was wallpaper for two large bathrooms, of which one was to be bespoke. The result was a huge success - it is so rewarding when a client loves your approach and trusts you enough to want a bespoke design, giving you free rein to create something different using your signature style - and then absolutely love the result.”
