About Us

Poets Corner Interiors is a London-based interior design studio, offering a warm service and a considered approach to any interior project. Our mission is to create and deliver tailor-made spaces for our clients which are unique and beautiful but also practical and easy to live in. Our studio was founded by Sarah Limbert, a former lawyer with a passion for great design and creative and functional interior solutions. Sarah is known for taking an innovative and thoughtful approach to interior design. She listens to clients, understands their briefs and works with them to deliver outstanding results. From humble beginnings, Poets Corner Interiors is proud to have created spaces of elegance and beauty in a range of settings, from large-scale projects to simple facelifts.

We also offer a stand-alone home staging service for clients who are looking to rent or sell a property or simply need to declutter and/or refresh their existing interiors.

How would you describe your style?

"Every home should have some room to evolve over time so we equip our clients with the tools to do that. For that reason, we don’t align to any particular style or design epoch. We value longevity so our clients can expect a strong focus on timeless and quality materials, craftsmanship and a touch of antiquity. We believe that a home should have some room to evolve over time so we equip our clients with the tools to do that. Our designs include a careful balance of traditional and contemporary design, with a strong focus on art - we love to work with up-and-coming artists and makers."

Please describe a recently completed project or tell us about the bespoke service that you offer

"Our service offering is completely bespoke, tailor-made to fit our client’s needs and requirements. We are happy to work with clients on projects of all sizes and can help with everything from a one-off consultation to full-service interior design.

We recently completed the design of a 3-bedroom Victorian terrace house on the Deal seafront. Our clients Alice and Katy asked us to create a multi-functional seaside bolthole for them to enjoy with their family, including several nieces and nephews, as well as a property they could let as a holiday home when they are in London. We relished the challenge of creating a bold and stylish home, sympathetic to its Victorian era, with plenty of art. We worked with them to create functional and practical storage solutions, suggesting furniture and accessories which look great but are also robust enough to withstand wear and tear from holiday makers and little sandy feet!"
