Drummond Shaw began restoring period houses in the 1980s and struggled to source authentic architectural antiques for his projects. He used his experience to set up what quickly became the UK’s best dealership with a particular passion for classic bathrooms.
Drummonds’ team of artisans became world exports in restoring antique bathroom pieces and adapting them for modern use. This knowledge was used to establish the company’s three unique foundries specialising in enamelled cast-iron, solid lost-wax brassware, and hand-poured clay chinaware. All materials and techniques are authentic to the first British bathrooms, honed by modern technology.
An extensive product range includes baths, showers, WCs, vanity basins, taps and accessories, all of which can be matched to a specified finish.

How would you describe your style?
"Timeless; driven by authenticity and handcraftsmanship. Our core collections epitomise the classic English style with forms authentically taken from Victorian and Edwardian antiques and made with the same traditional techniques.
More recently, collaborations with celebrated designers such Martin Brudnizki, Suzy Hoodless and Steven Gambrel have added contemporary collections."
Please describe a recently completed project or tell us about the bespoke service that you offer
"We are particularly proud of our bespoke finishing service; we are perhaps the only company that makes every element for the bathroom in the same location. We offer our brassware in nine house finishes, allowing every product in the bathroom to tone seamlessly; from showers, taps and vanity bases to mirrors and lighting.
Recently we have completed three fantastic projects, including a boutique hotel in the centre of Lisbon, a beautiful townhouse overlooking the Centre Court of Wimbledon, and the stately home of Lord Shaftesbury in the English countryside."
