About Us

Cave Interiors specialises in high-end projects throughout the UK and abroad. The team is led by Founder and Creative Director Georgina Cave with daughter Anouska Cave as Head of Design. We work on spatial planning and end-to-end design for both old and new-build house projects. Bringing to life concepts and solutions which are highly creative in their use of space, colour and detail, we always consider the client's needs, lifestyle and personality. This includes designing bespoke pieces of furniture, mixing the old and new, which is always part of our handwriting. We love to support emerging craftspeople as well as drawing on our long-established relationships with specialist suppliers. Our current projects vary from an Arts & Crafts cottage in Hampstead to a new build overlooking the Scottish coast, to listed houses in Primrose Hill and Canonbury, a converted barn in the Cotswolds, amongst others.

"We were delighted to work on the complete renovation and design of a Victorian house, overlooking Queens Park over 12 years ago. Previously it was very run down, with no heating and little electricity. It was a joy to restore the many original features including hallway tiles, fireplaces and cornicing, as well as re-using many original items such as the doorknobs and re-purposing old doors throughout, alongside items otherwise destined for the skip into newly designed joinery.

Recently, we were asked back to the project to update the property to accommodate our clients’ now teenage children. Re-use is always at the forefront of each project we do and as our clients loved the original design, most of the elements from our original works remained apart from the addition of a new extension. We created new colour schemes and re-covered furniture where needed. Antiques sourced during the first design still stand beautifully in their place and are central to the home. We extended the original kitchen into the new extension area using reclaimed worktops to match the original and re-painted cabinets in a bold and richer colour for a new lease of life. We added an antique iron chandelier, zinc worktops and other metal finishes, which overall created a layered and relaxed homely feel, that reflects our client’s style. It was a joy to work on this project on both occasions!"
