Annabelle and Lucy met at school when they were 10 and started Canford & Co in Fulham – moving into bigger premises in Lillie Road 5 years ago.

Our inviting shop stocks an ever-changing selection of mid-century French paintings and collections of antique prints and is always crammed with antique and vintage china, glass, mirrors and lamps sourced from antique fairs in the South of France and England. The shop is full of charm and personality and definitely not for the decorating minimalist!  

We offer a comprehensive on-site picture framing service, specialising in hand-finishing and conservation mounting. We understand our client's needs for individual and bespoke framing to achieve something that is on-trend and yet timeless.

As picture framers, we frame for interior designers, West End galleries, hotels, restaurants and of course, private clients. We have a wide range of samples on show in the shop.  We can make painted, stained and gilded frames with a variety of finishes to meet clients' requirements for textiles, oils, works on paper and 3-D pieces.  

For an exhibition recently, we collaborated with our client – a noted photographer, to provide an extraordinary triple mount in jewel colours and a hand-painted interlocking frame which complemented the beautiful colours in the prints.

We also recently assembled a large collection of vintage majolica and numerous sets of prints and paintings for a client’s new Italian home
