About Us

Rachael Gowdridge is an interior designer born and raised in London with over 12 years of experience in the high-end luxury interiors market. Rachael started her career at David Collins Studio before spending an extended tenure at Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, working with a wealth of clients including Four Seasons Hotels, Harrods, Big Mamma Group and Rocco Forte. Applying this knowledge of highly-bespoke design solutions, she became an in-house associate at Ennismore International, where she led a team of creatives on the expansion of the Hoxton Hotels throughout Europe, the ongoing refurbishment of The Gleneagles Hotel and the establishment of The Gleneagles Townhouse.

Rachael set up her eponymous design studio in 2022, with the desire to merge a wealth of knowledge in crafting experiences across high-end interiors with a creative, friendly and approachable manner for her clients. Whether it is a commercial or residential project, Rachael sees her clients as collaborators and therefore builds a genuine connection with them to understand their needs and preferences, and earn their trust.

Working closely with British artisans and craftsmen, each project respects the individuality of the clients. Drawing inspiration from art, architecture, fashion and craft, Rachael and the team ensure that authenticity and personality are at the forefront of all projects. Driven by a passion for art, antiques and craftsmanship, combined with a studied knowledge of custom furniture and lighting design, the studio can balance the old and the new in a measured way, creating unique and timeless spaces.

How would you describe your style?

"While no two projects are the same, at the heart of the studio’s aesthetic lies honest, quiet luxury, combining simplicity and refinement, texture and softness and colour and personality. We have a wealth of experience in bespoke furniture and lighting, and our projects combine these one-of-a-kind pieces with antique finds and artisanal creations, crafting interiors that will stand the test of time, transcend trends and curating collections that feel authentic and can be passed down from generation to generation."

"We recently completed a full renovation of a townhouse in London, and one of our favourite parts of the process was working closely with the client to expand her art collection. Rachael has a real passion for art, having studied Contemporary Art Practice at university, so we were able to curate a storied collection, combining original paintings from up-and-coming artists, edition lithographs from established names and antique originals sourced from galleries and online auction houses. Our interiors are all about the layering of materials, eras, textures and accessories, so each piece was sourced specifically with its placement in the room in mind, bringing together colours, forms and textures that resonated with the wider interior design as a whole."
