How would you describe your style?

"Ng Feathers Interiors epitomizes a bespoke approach to design, eschewing a fixed style in favour of tailoring each project to the unique character of its inhabitants. Influenced by Kirsten’s architectural training and our shared experience working in a prominent architectural practice, the interior design process begins with the architectural bones of a building. We look at style, era, and period features and weave into it our client’s practical and aesthetic brief, continuously referencing classic proportions whilst applying contemporary principles to modernise and refine.

We strive to create joyful interiors that are layered with pattern, texture, and personality through a carefully curated selection of furnishings and antiques, allowing the spaces to elegantly evolve and adapt with the lives and tastes of our clients."

"Ng Feathers is a full service design studio, guiding our clients through the design process from initial concept to final execution. Our range of services includes interior architecture, design, and decoration, and we frequently collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors, as well as a network of talented tradespeople and artisans, to ensure that each project is delivered to the highest standards.

We believe that, where possible, interior design should be discussed from the project’s inception, ensuring practical and aesthetic considerations are woven into every decision. Through clear communication, collaboration, and a robust design process, including the use of perspective sketches, physical materials palettes, and detailed drawing packages, our clients are led through each decision, ensuring their confidence in the design direction and gaining their trust in us to nurture a joyful experience that celebrates the privilege of creating a bespoke home.

We recently had the pleasure of working on a Fulham project where we were tasked with creating a vibrant family home to serve as a London Pied-à-Terre. Beginning with a partial gutting of the space to reconfigure the first floor, we created a primary suite with a walk-in robe and en-suite. Custom joinery, designed by Ng Feathers Interiors, provided additional storage in the primary bedroom while discreetly concealing a TV behind bifold doors. 

On the ground floor, a thoughtful reconfiguration of the kitchen allowed for ample storage and the addition of a substantial kitchen island. An overlooked space, nestled between the formal sitting area and the kitchen, was revitalized with purpose. Vibrant green joinery was installed, breathing new life into the area, which now serves a dual function as both a library and a dining space, easily adaptable to suit changing needs, as well as the discreet incorporation of a European laundry cleverly concealed beneath the staircase.

We are also currently working on a beautiful two-storey maisonette in Pimlico, a small but perfectly appointed two-bedroom flat in Knightsbridge, a large terraced family home in Balham, a listed Notting Hill renovation, and many studio collaborations overseas."
