GP & J Baker enjoys an international reputation for supplying creative solutions to interior designers for domestic, hospitality and contract projects including large luxury and stylish boutique hotels, spas and restaurants through to cruise ships and luxury yachts. GP & J Baker was founded by two enterprising brothers in 1884 and current collections range from stunning translations of designs from its renowned archive to sparkling signature prints, weaves and embroideries designed to complement both traditional and more contemporary interiors.

A holder of the Royal Warrant since 1982, GP & J Baker takes pride in providing a personal, tailored service designed to support the design and supply process. The team has a proven track record of building long term partnerships with all of their customers and are able to offer the very best product from our extensive range of fabric and wallcovering collections. In addition, they have developed a useful virtual pattern book library hosted on the gpjbaker.com website containing in-stock fabrics and wallcoverings curated by colour and new product collections that can be accessed around the clock. At GP & J Baker, their overall aim is to assist each client in creating elegant, stylish and comfortable spaces.

"Recent projects completed by GP & J Baker include the supply of outdoor performance fabrics for the garden area at The Ivy on the King’s Road in Chelsea, London as well as supplying decorative fabrics for the new bar at the Pig Hotel at Madehurst. 

GP & J Baker also worked with the design team of the Four Seasons in Hampshire for their suites and rooms and produced bespoke velvet fabric for the Monsieur George hotel in Paris working closely with Anouska Hempel."
