"Jardin is a collection of seven exceptional rugs inspired by French gardens. Born from the shared vision of Marie Bastide and Cécile Meuleau, Artistic Director and Director of Collections, this series of rugs celebrates the beauty of Architecture, and it explores the boundaries between human craftsmanship and the wildness of nature.
Each rug has been carefully hand-crafted from high-quality materials like jute, hemp, and nettle, with rich earthy tones and complimentary daring colours that are vibrant and electric. These rugs have been designed to be both timeless and modern, with unique features like bursts of silk and bold colour blends. Traditional hand-knotted and hand-woven techniques, as well as hand-tufting, have been used, honouring the skilled artisans who make each piece in Nepal, India and China.
In homage to the gardens, each piece in this collection is made from natural materials of the highest quality – different wools from the Himalayas, worsted or semi-worsted, silk – a guarantee of exceptional quality and durability. In line with our commitment to sustainability, the collection also includes rugs made from recycled materials such as econyl, which comes from reused water bottles and nylon textiles such as fishing nets. Jardin is a collection of the highest quality carpets which have been made to last a lifetime, timeless by design, yet resolutely modern, and a step in the direction to a world without waste."
