About Us

Daw & Co focuses on residential spaces in and around West London. The small but experienced team undertake a select few design projects at any one time to ensure the highest level of care and attention to detail. Bringing their combined creativity, contacts and practical skills to each challenge, the team aims to make the process as fun and painless as possible, reassuring clients with regular communication and taking a refreshingly candid approach to discussing budgets and timelines at the outset.

Daw & Co believes in listening intently not just to the list of requirements but also interpreting the underlying emotions. The team tunes in to the taste of their clients and interprets that rather than rigidly imposing their own style.

The company wants clients to always feel heard and understood. This is paramount to their approach. Daw & Co's goal is to create a home that authentically reflects the owners and everything they love. Jess Daw, founder and creative director, worked for several top names in the interiors industry in the decade before setting up her own company. Jess also draws on her prior career in running a magazine business and in client servicing in an agency at a senior level.

How would you describe your style?

"Interesting, timeless and relaxed rooms, enjoyed by grown-ups. We are careful to give sufficient time in our process at the outset to truly understand the personalities and interests of each client. Interpreting and reflecting their taste ensures that the results are different and wonderful each time."

"We recently completed a project on Palace Gardens Terrace, one of the most desirable streets in Kensington. However, the property was far from desirable at the start and needed a full refurbishment, starting with remedial damp work. We introduced a party wall surveyor, damp specialist and structural engineer to begin to help our client through the process of bringing the tired and unloved spaces back to life. We were also able to help them find common ground where they had obvious differences in opinion.

We stripped it back to the bricks, then we remodeled some of the spaces. The decorative schemes followed from close collaboration with our clients and are bold and colourful but still elegant. The choices reflect the couples' personalities and interests and it is now a gorgeous, bijoux bolt hole that lifts their hearts on arrival."
