How would you describe your style?

"At Atelier Minka we aim is to ensure every interior space becomes ceremonious.

Whether we are working on a show home or restoring a historic property, we take a considered approach to our designs and always ensure there is a harmonious relationship between form, material and function.

Our designs are layered with brave patterns and colour but never overwhelming. Every client is unique and this is reflected in bespoke elements incorporated into our projects from one-of-a-kind furniture to traditional hand-painted wallpaper."

"We recently had the pleasure of renovating a family home in the heart of Chelsea. We took the project from conception to completion, project managing the installation.

We first approached the project by the careful allocation of layout with a young family to consider therefore intentional design was key.

We created a considered scheme, which did not overshadow the original period features but felt calm and evoked the feeling of luxury. The opposing garden was a key influence, and this was reflected in a gentle cast of green hues met with vibrant prints to encourage movement and discovery from one space to another.  Every element was unique to this project, from lighting to bespoke window treatments and upholstery, to artist commissions of one-of-a-kind murals.

Throughout the home, there is a playful take on the relationship between formal and informal living; saturated colour meets rich pattern play alongside elevated fixtures.

In the living room, we achieved this by dividing the two living spaces with cleverly placed sofas in contrasting textiles—custom made by de Le Cuona, one sofa dons a luxurious velvet and the other a casual linen. Lighting also serves as an anchor in the space through stunning fixtures that speak fluently to one another, from space to space.

The custom kitchen comes to life in a foil of serene green, a stunning Roman blind in Kelly Wearstler fabric and luxurious Apparatus lighting. The study encompasses a serene blue custom library with beautiful detailing.

Whilst in the custom-designed primary bathroom, functionality is paramount with clean lines and modern touches without compromising on luxury.

The nursery is adorned with playful dream-like details which evoke a sense of calmness.

The result is a collection of rooms fit for entertaining guests, interiors that welcome gathering and a home made for a young, playful family to grow."
