Launched in 2016, East London Parasol Company marries gorgeous fabrics and handicrafts from the UK, India and Indonesia to create decadent garden parasols with matching bases, cushions and napkins for the discerning garden enthusiast.
Each parasol and cushion is made by hand, using traditional handicrafts to create contemporary designs. The parasols are inspired by traditional and contemporary aesthetics. Designs range from William Morris patterns and handmade frames from Hampshire to richly tasselled and hand-painted parasols inspired by temples. Decorative bases are carved from wood and stone to ornament the parasols, and matching cushions are block printed by hand in India.

"East London Parasol Company designs flamboyant and elegant garden accessories. We have a strong ethos of working with traditional crafts to produce beautiful pieces. Designs range from plainer colours to highly decorative patterns and even leopard print. Fringes are either highly tasselled or chic and elegant crescents. The parasols are available in 2 or 3-metre diameters with a variety of ornamental bases. Our frames are made in Hampshire from sustainable British wood, or in Indonesia from carved and decorated durian wood."
