Decurate Interiors is a London and Cotswolds-based interior design studio, set up by Nadine Finnegan in 2018, working with a discerning clientele on the renovation and refurbishment of both residential and boutique commercial properties, from the planning phase through to construction and completion. Favouring a practical approach to both contemporary and traditional design, we focus on bringing authenticity and charm to each project through thoughtful, decorative curation and considered space planning. Creating schemes that feel warm, comfortable and inviting, each project we undertake features custom-sourced art, antiques and bespoke furnishings. We recognise that each space and client is unique and strive to approach each project with this in mind, working in an entirely collaborative fashion.

"This Grade II listed Cotswolds property was formerly three worker’s cottages and whilst it had a sound structure with a pretty façade, inside it was devoid of much of its original charm and character. Starting from scratch, the client wished to create a second home with the look and feel of having evolved organically over time, and a place where they could feel both at ease and relaxed when escaping the city at weekends. Moreover, they wanted the home to be super comfortable and user-friendly for their young family, and a place which exuded happiness and felt inspiring for both themselves and their guests. In response, we worked closely with their architect to redesign and reorganise the way the family would use the different parts of the house so that it was better suited to their lifestyle. In addition to our proposals for all decorative elements, we worked collaboratively with the client to carefully curate the collection of furniture, art, antiques, textiles and objects. Upon commencement of this project, we set about stripping the property back to its bones to reveal many original features, and through a sympathetic, full-scale renovation, which spanned 18 months, this home was lovingly reimagined and reconfigured to create a unique residence. With oodles of country charm, cosiness, playful colour, pattern and texture- and a dash of English country eccentricity-, the result is a layered, warm and entirely collected look and feel of an interior, that has been slowly added to over several years."
