About Us

Georgie Wykeham Designs is an interior design studio and furniture maker operating between West Sussex and London with projects that span all over the country. Georgie offers a bespoke interior design service and can assist with project coordination, with each design stage considered in fine detail. In 2021, Georgie launched the COLOURIST furniture collection to include console tables and bedside tables inspired by her love of 19th century traditional furnishings which she pairs down to suit modern ways of living. Her designs can be sprayed in an array of colours and finishes using a paint of your choice, all available to order through her website. In addition, Georgie is also an expert at sourcing one-off pieces of furniture, art and decorative items to evoke a feeling of old and new in her projects. Georgie works on projects from conception to completion, or on a consultancy basis; whether that's offering colour consultations, room layout advice or working on one-off commissions for bespoke upholstery or cabinetry requirements.

How would you describe your style?

"We love to create vibrant, comfortable spaces for our clients, often we are found designing spaces for London properties with large windows and tall ceilings, to country houses and cottages with charming original features. All designs are tailored to each client, and we inject our love for traditional contemporary design; layering colour, texture and pattern alongside old and new furniture to create truly unique interior designs for our clients."

Please describe a recently completed project or tell us about the bespoke service that you offer

"GW Designs recently provided a complete interior design service for a London flat. This project was inspired by the client’s wish for a comfortable, relaxed but smart interior suitable for entertaining, but also as a haven away from their busy work life.

The flat was fully refurbished, including; full redecoration, two new bathrooms, new flooring, joinery and new window dressings and furnishings. By combining traditional accessories and artwork which she already had with updated finishes and new furnishings, we created a modern but relaxed sanctuary for the client to enjoy as their home."
