"Working with the client to restore a substantial Grade I listed home in the heart of Chipping Campden, Grevel House, has been painstakingly brought back to its former glory.
We have completely overhauled the home with our expert craftspeople to extend, refurbish and restore the home. Using years of experience from our background within the building industry we have been the principal contractor to oversee the project.
The home has had a complete overhaul of the mechanicals and electrics. The original steel windows and heritage glass that had been broken overtime, has been restored by our skilled heritage glaziers. The stone masonry has been refurbished or replaced in keeping with the original works.
Each room has had bespoke architectural joinery completed at our joinery shop. Tulipwood has been used for the skirting and architrave as it gives a beautiful smooth finish when painted.
Within the bathrooms, we have made and installed stunning vanity units to complement the bathrooms.
The roof has been completely redone using traditional methods, along with lambs wool insulation and traditional oak beams, the tiles are reclaimed Stonefield roof tiles. The craftmanship carried out is truly outstanding.
The new joists within the kitchen area have been installed using traditional mortice, tenoned and dowd, along with the limecrete floor and Yorkshire stone giving an undoubtedly traditional feel to the home.
