She keeps longevity at the core of every project, bringing together a wide range of stylistic influences to ensure her clients’ homes will continue to grow and evolve with their needs.
Lilse is currently based in New York and Connecticut with projects across the East Coast and abroad.

"Lilse McKenna Inc is a full-service design firm. We work with clients on all stages of design, from architectural renovations to interior furnishings.
Each project is unique and heavily influenced by the specific client and home. What is the location and history of the home? Does the family often host guests? Are there any practical considerations of how they use the space? How will their family will evolve and grow in the home over time? I consider interior design to be a large long-term investment and I want to give my clients spaces that they will continue to love for as long as they are in them. From there, we source the best materials and furnishings, for each project; many times that includes custom furniture and case goods, hand-painted murals and details, and many more custom elements. We are thoughtful about every element of our design to create spaces that have longevity for our clients."
