How would you describe your style?

"We employ no in-house style; instead, each project provides an opportunity to create beautiful, yet individual, interiors designed specifically for each distinct project and client.  Every project requires a level of research to make the design process an informed decision, and we work collaboratively with our clients and our team of professionals to select appropriately in order to create our effortlessly elegant and luxurious individually-designed homes."

"We recently worked with US-based South African clients on a UK home of 12,000 sq.ft. We met with one of our clients at our studio, taking an initial brief for this large project.  Our journey really began with a wonderful fact-finding week at home in Texas with this international family, spending time with them and understanding the way they live and their routines. We brought with us a suitcase of appropriately chosen samples which we felt would work for the project, and we set up design meetings at several Houston-based showrooms to ascertain their taste and style.

Once back in our UK studio, we began by analysing and organising the information we took from our trip for our brief.  We created a light and elegant concept with a glamorous edge and a nod to their strong family bond. The original spatial layouts within the house did not work for the way the family lived, so we redesigned the internal spaces and how they interconnected using Crittall, texture and a layered lighting scheme.

We specified all the external windows and doors, the internal doors and hardware, the flooring, producing full specifications and technical drawings for the contractors and coordinating the installation of everything. In addition, we created all technical drawings and schemes for this project from the complex lighting specifications to the wine cellar joinery to the sanitaryware and brassware for the nine bathrooms as well as over 25 other rooms and collaborated on the design of a stunning central staircase. Throughout this process, we collaborated and presented to our clients, keeping them informed and signing off each stage.

Finally, we created the decorative specifications and schemes for each of the large rooms throughout the house including bespoke window treatments and furniture procurement, wallcoverings and mirror installations.  Our clients are delighted with their home and we remain retained by them, recently completing a further project for them."
