About Us

Christine has been designing spaces for almost thirty years following a successful career with an international auction house and as a gallery director, museum curator, and co-founder of a home furnishings store. The designer on the Emmy award-winning television show, This Old House, she trained at Sotheby’s Institute, London; Harvard University, and National Trust houses. Christine is on the Leadership Board for Boston Design Week. In addition to residential work, the firm has designed spaces as far-ranging as several private clubs, the Inn at the Harvard Club, a recording studio, and private offices. Christine spent her formative years on Cape Cod and in London. She brings hard work, integrity, and a purposeful, wholly creative approach to all she does. The firm’s guidelines are rooted in scale, proportion, and function, but every space is based on an understanding of the individual client brief, therefore our designs are highly personal.

Visiting the Christine Tuttle Design office is by appointment only.

"We also work with our clients to design their outdoor or seasonal spaces. We design and install garden rooms, seasonal porches, terrace, and pool houses, as well as design gardens and work with a special group of landscape and hardscape installers to bring our designs to life. We recently completed several gardens of note in Greater Boston and on Cape Cod."
