How would you describe your style?

Our style is a layering of old and new, combining mid-century and traditional pieces to create timeless schemes which draw heavy inspiration from nature. Our work can be characterised by a keen attention to detail and a passion for trimmings, quality craftsmanship and natural finishes.

We completed the full refurbishment of a 5-bedroom dilapidated Edwardian house which had formerly been converted into 3 flats. The property was in a poor state of repair, both structurally and decoratively, but with an abundance of period features which we were keen to retain and where necessary, restore. The ground floor was to be the main family area and we combined the three rear rooms (a dining room, breakfast room and morning room) to create one large open plan kitchen/living space with direct access onto the garden. We used dual aspect, full height sliding glass doors to maximise natural light and to blur the distinction between inside and out. This transformed the ambience of the whole house by giving a direct view into the garden from the moment you approached the front floor and flooding the previously rather dark ground floor with light and a sense of welcoming sense of space. For the bathroom we used premium brassware and a cast-iron, free-standing bath to give a nod to the property’s heritage, knocking two smaller rooms together to create a substantial family bath room with ample space for a separate shower and reading chair.
