Porada is based in the “Brianza” economic environment, an area which is famous for the presence of many wooden-furniture manufacturers. An evident proof of the close connection with the territory is the name itself of the Company: Porada is the name of a small area of Cabiate, the village where the company is situated.

"Porada was born more than seventy years ago with collections dedicated to the residential market, developing, over the years, an increasingly rich offer in furnishing accessories. With the evolution of the global market, the need to adapt the collections to contract projects (hotels, restaurants and common areas) becomes stronger and stronger. Broadlands project: Located in Hyde Park, Johannesburg – South Africa. This magnificent property perfectly emanates the stylistic elements of contemporary and modern style, all creating a seamless flow of sophistication and luxury at its finest. This modern family house consists of five bedrooms, each with an en-suite and its own private patio, overlooking the gardens. The house was designed to accommodate its own private spa, wine cellar and a home theatre. The architect designed the house without any preconceived ideas of what it would look like. This process has allowed South African people to become more open to accept distinct architectural ideas. The contemporary, modern, architectural structure with its glass, steel and concrete elements was the core of inspiration for the interior spaces."
