About Us

GN Landscape Design is an acclaimed international garden design practice with studios in London, Shropshire and Austria.

The company's founder Georgina Newall has over thirty years of experience in garden design and together GN Landscape Design offers a bespoke and highly creative service through a stable of designers, horticulturalists and expert garden maintenance teams.

As a design practice, GN Landscape Design enjoy a reputation for delivering every project on time and on budget. They also take great pride in understanding their client’s individual needs; discretion is of the utmost importance to them.

From big, family-focused entertaining areas to those quiet, tranquil summer spots we all dream of they help their clients fall in love – for the first time, or all over again – with their rural gardens. The team build long-term thinking into all of their larger-scale projects, designing gardens that grow with their clients and can adapt to their needs. That means choosing sustainable and beautiful hard materials – as well as undemanding plants for those who don’t have maintenance help.

"As with many rural projects, the challenge with our Gloucestershire Village Garden was to create a feeling of privacy and intimacy within a large setting that is also overlooked by neighbouring houses. Installing clipped topiary, hedges and trees helped provide attractive screening that also had interest and character.

Interplanted stepping stone paths led to sweeping vistas for that exciting feeling of exploration, whilst a pleached outdoor ‘room’ gave the clients a serene and enclosed new dining area. Once the architecture of the larger trees and shrubs were in place, we planted rambling rose gardens and colourful herbaceous borders to bring it all to life.

We would be delighted to help with your garden!"
