"This now light, elegant and meticulously restored Grade I listed terrace apartment had been used as student accommodation for over 10 years, and prior to that as a nursing home (joined to the adjacent property internally). The project involved removing numerous later partitions and recreating as far as possible the original plan form. Extensive works were carried out, including structural support works, complete rewiring and plumbing, restoration of original Bath stonework, architraves, stairs, shutters, fireplaces and floors where possible. All works required liaison with Listed buildings, English Heritage, Planning in a World Heritage Site, as well as current requirements of building regulations."
