"Working with an American client with a passion for the British countryside we created a luxurious London bolthole for him during his regular visits. We were asked to keep the space light but warm and welcoming at the same time. We did this using a range of rich textures and finishes whilst keeping the envelope of the room - walls and curtains pale. Some of the materials we used included stones such as limestone and honed marble, weathered and fumed oak, silk wool, velvets as well as fabrics with patterns such as plaid, paisley, and chevron."
