Floren is a design studio based in England, specialising in interior decoration for fine homes. Led by Inchbald graduate Neil Sherring, we bring aesthetic clarity evoking the sophistication and elegance of England’s long decorating tradition. Floren will take you on a voyage of visual discovery and a celebration of colour, pattern and texture.

Influenced by great designers and decorators both past and present, our curated collection of sourced decorative items includes inspirational artworks, classic sculptures, beautiful lamps, unique furniture pieces and beautiful homewares.

Neil’s wife Pratthana heads up our small team of artisans who make bespoke hand-sewn lampshades and cushions at our studio in Dorset. Floren’s globally-sourced inventory of textiles includes designs from the world’s leading fabric houses, antique & rare vintage textiles such as silk ikats and Indian sarees, ensuring our bespoke creations are unique and sought-after. We are pleased to supply some of the world's greatest designers & interior stores and we are delighted that our shades adorn lamps in some of the world's most stylish homes.

Many of our wonderful clients are based in the United States and our custom lampshades can be made with US finial/harp fittings. Bespoke orders are handmade by our team in typically 2-3 weeks and we ship weekly to the US with deliveries arriving in around 3 days.

Our obsession with fine textiles has inspired a collection of exceptional furnishing fabrics. In collaboration with the esteemed American decorator Patrick Gallagher, this sumptuous array of woven fabrics using only natural yarns are made at an esteemed 5th-generation mill in Italy and can be found at www.pgtessuti.com  

Inspired primarily by the Italian decorative arts, landscape and way of life, the PG Tessuti collection has been created to complement elegant interiors wherever they are found, from smart English sitting rooms and relaxed American country houses to the glamorous urban pieds-à-terres that dot all the most exciting cities around the world.
