Cassandra Crouch offers an innovative garden design practice, creating beautiful landscapes for clients in London and throughout the Home Counties. Having had a successful career in the fashion industry, Cassandra’s affinity with nature and love of good design led to the establishment of her studio, where she creates trend-aware and unique outdoor spaces tailored to her clients requirements. Her Richmond Park garden was shortlisted at the prestigious SGD Awards 2016, and won the Principle Award at the 2016 Bali Awards, and she was also shortlisted for the Future Designer Award at the SGD Awards 2014. Cassandra Crouch MSGD is a fully accredited, registered member of the Society of Garden Designers, the only body that represents professional garden designers in the UK.
Garden and Landscape Design
“Our work is characterised by a strong use of geometry that lends a contemporary underlying structure to the garden. Planting is key, and we aim to use plants with a naturalistic feel, creating a soft contrast to the clean lines in our designs.”
"We recently completed a garden in Hertfordshire, where the brief was to create a contemporary courtyard that would lead from a new architectural extension. The space had historically formed a part of a swimming pool area, and the edges of the sunken garden needed to be retained, and tall boundaries softened. In keeping with the rural location, we used steel with a bespoke textural finish as the key material to create a series of interconnected elements, including retaining walls, steps, water rill and pool and stepping stones. This contrasted with a minimalist cream porcelain paving, designed to align with the interior flooring and create a seamless junction between the house and garden. Timber was used to connect with architectural detailing on the house and create large family seating and relaxing areas."
