Launched in 2019 by Dublin-based Londoner Katharine Deas who pivoted from a corporate career to pursue her love of design, Oriana B began with Katharine selling unique furniture online. Katharine’s discerning taste caught the attention of Dublin interior designer Alannah Monks, and they quickly bonded over their shared appreciation for functional furniture that elevates the ordinary. A creative partnership was instantly forged and Alannah joined the Oriana B team as Creative Director in 2020.
Now leading an all-female team in Fairview, Dublin 3, their mission is to create and supply thoughtfully designed furniture and homewares that give independent thinkers the power to create distinctive homes. Their trademark polished eclecticism aesthetic pioneers homes that are distinctive yet discerning, curated but never contrived. By leaning into 20th-century inspired design and European traditionalism, Katharine and Alannah believe in homes that are cosy to occupy, beautiful to look at and easy to create.

"We offer a full service across our design studio, from single room redesigns to full scale new builds and renovations in both residential and commercial properties. We have completed a number of turnkey solutions for clients living overseas or relocating to Ireland, such as our New Character Project. Part of a brand new development, this detached property was a true exploration of creativity centring on practical family life and functionality. The owners contacted Oriana B from overseas looking for a turnkey finish and to make this house a characterful and cosy home for their young family. We were tasked with taking this property from white walls, concrete floors and builder grade finishes to a home filled with texture, pattern, colour and whimsy in a mere 12 weeks."
