About Us

Bloomsbury Revisited creates unique and original lampshades and bases inspired by the Bloomsbury Set artists at Charleston Farmhouse. Shades for table lights, wall lights and pendant lights in whatever shape or size required are British-made and then painted or printed to a design and colourway that brings something quite unique to the setting.  The company firmly believes that art should not just be hung on a wall.

How would you describe your style?

"Our style is unique and quite different from anything else on the market. Leaning towards the quirky and bohemian, the painterly strokes and muted palettes emulate the work of artists like Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell. The shades and bases reflect the composition and ideas introduced by Roger Fry from European influences in the early 20th Century."

"We have designed a collection for the Highgrove shop in Tetbury. The brief was to design four shades that represented different aspects of the United Kingdom and reflected the King’s love of the natural world. The originals are on display in the shop which sit alongside a limited edition print run for each design.  Bases were hand painted to complete the collection."
