Natalie Canning established her Suffolk based studio in 2005. She specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke hand-sewn curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, working closely with all of her clients to understand their individual style and how they want their home to feel. Each window treatment she creates is beautiful, designed to last and made to make you smile. Natalie and her talented team of seamstresses use only the very finest fabrics and work to meticulous and exacting standards, where only perfection will do.

"Everything always begins with our clients. Our personal consultations allow us to listen and work with them to create beautiful and unique soft furnishings. A recent project in a Suffolk Georgian Manor was to dress the supersize dining room windows with a pair of shaped pelmets and extravagant curtains (see images below). The fabric had to be pretty rose pink with fresh greens and whites to work perfectly with the existing room colours. We agreed on an exquisite pink silk to create a feeling of luxury and opulence. We designed a double piping to match the other room colours and added this to the curtain leading edges and bottom of the pelmets. The curtains were sewn with pinch pleat headings so they sat neatly off the windows in uniformed folds. We also interlined the curtains with a heavy weight cotton and padded the pelmets to increase weight and the feeling of indulgence. Our clients were thrilled with their very pink extravagantly dressed windows and loved the way the feeling and sound of the room had completely softened. We are now working together planning their next project, this time reds and golds!"
