Goodmakers, a furniture design and manufacturing company based in Cambridgeshire, was conceived from the very principle of collaboration. When Theo Evans, a furniture designer from North Wales met Jonathon Camfield, a cabinet maker from London, a relationship developed in which one’s creative flair synchronised perfectly with the other’s technical expertise. By working together, utilising each other’s attributes, they believed they could form an unrivalled creative outlet, one where furniture would take centre stage.
The co-founders of Goodmakers still abide by the same principle of collaboration that has brought them this far today. In fact, they stress that the future of Goodmakers as a furniture company actually depends on the strength of the relationships they form, not only with their customers but also with their suppliers, employees and fellow design peers alike.
Every piece of furniture in the Goodmakers collection is customisable, allowing our customers to style interiors with furniture perfectly suited to their environment. The dimensions, finishes (of which we have over 70 in our standard collection), and fittings can all be tailored to suit each individual project’s needs.
The designers at Goodmakers understand they have a responsibility to create sustainable, long-lasting products, and the dedication to this cause is equally as strong among our expert makers, who all share a passion for crafting exceptional furniture that can be enjoyed for a lifetime and beyond.

We offer a 24-hour quotation turnaround, and we can produce detailed computer-modelled drawings to make sure you are completely satisfied with the design of your furniture before we begin the manufacturing process.
Other essential services we offer include installation access checks, site surveys, custom-made finishes and product testing. We also welcome the addition of free-issue materials and components such as fabrics, wallpapers, marble, and handles.
Our furniture is all hand-made in the UK by cabinet makers who are encouraged to take pride in their craft and to always maintain strong attention to detail. We combine traditional manufacturing techniques with new and innovative processes and components. We always endeavour to supply furniture which is both a joy to use and built to last.
