Introducing Coalbrook, the newest brand from the UK’s leading premium bathroom distributor, Davroc. Launched in 2020, in response to a gap in the market for design-led bathroom products at competitive prices, Coalbrook is a luxury, yet accessible brand.
With boldness and innovation at its heart, Coalbrook takes timeless bathroom essentials and creates modern, stylish pieces. The company name is derived from the town of Coalbrookdale, the site of the world’s first iron bridge and industrial-inspired design is central to the brand’s identity.
Coalbrook’s showroom, The Market Building, is a conceptual and experience-led space in the heart of Clerkenwell. Created by interior architects Holloway Li, The Market Building showcases Coalbrook products and celebrates the brand’s industrial heritage.
Bathroom brassware
"Stylish, yet timeless, Coalbrook’s design-led bathroom brassware collections combine form and function and have an industrial aesthetic that reflects the brand’s heritage.
There are currently four core collections; Bank, a distinctive range with cross bar handles, Zurich, an ode to Swiss precision and high-quality design, Domo, which is striking in its simplicity and Decca, which features disc handles with fluted edge
All products are expertly crafted and engineered to operate smoothly and seamlessly. All are available in a choice of four bold finishes; brushed brass, brushed nickel, gunmetal and chrome."
"Coalbrook was specified for Mollie’s Motel, Bristol, the motel & diner concept which includes exclusive Soho House-designed interiors, seamless tech and luxury amenities.
The brief was to design a collection of bathroom essentials that were simple, but with an element of luxury. A bespoke bathroom brassware range was specified and designed for this project - chrome basin mixers featuring bold and distinctive cross-bar handle with a striking industrial aesthetic.
Coalbrook products have also recently been selected for a number of private residential projects, and specified for several luxury hospitality projects, including The Other House, Kensington and 15 Old Bailey, which are currently in development."
