Studio 18 is a London-based interior design & art studio founded in 2021 by Freya Wastie and specialises in creating authentic, timeless interiors and bespoke art from concept through to completion.
Through Interior Design, Studio 18 offers various services including spatial design, concept design, lighting design, technical specification, joinery design, window dressing, 2D and 3D visualisation, furniture selection and interior styling. We believe strongly in making the interior industry a more sustainable profession and aim to use existing furniture, art and styling items where possible.
Through art, Studio 18 offers both bespoke commissions and in-stock paintings through the Studio 18 Store. With a focus on depth and texture, each painting is bespoke to the client and with our bespoke commission service, is tailored to the interior scheme.

"We recently completed an interior design project for a 4-bed house in the heart of the Kent countryside. The original parts of the house dated back to the 1860s and having not been touched for 55 years, the project needed a full strip out and refurbishment. The original footprint of the house remained the same, but the internal layout needed some careful thought and attention. Having made the move out of London my client needed a family home to balance both the desired design aesthetic with the function of a growing family home.
Alongside providing the interior design, we worked closely with our trusted team of trades to provide all joinery items including the bespoke kitchen, the lighting design, and all window treatments. We used a palette of warm neutrals and bold accents to play with the available natural light and balanced natural materials throughout the design to ensure tactility and warmth.
We design managed the entire 6-month build, ensuring the project was delivered within budget and on time. The result was a family home that honoured the original architecture, ensured harmony with the beautiful surrounding gardens and embodied an interior that feels of home with the longevity to grow with the family."
